Welcome to Fusion Theatre!
We're a cross community drama group based in the Lisburn and Hillsborough area of beautiful, sunny Northern Ireland. We have successfully put on productions of Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, The King & I and Les Miserables.
“Fusion” projects our philosophy of inclusion for all groups of people regardless of race, gender, physical ability, age or religion.
From the Sewers of Paris to the plains of Oklahoma!
Following our success at last year’s Waterford International Festival of Light Opera with Les Misèrables School Edition, the Committee, cast and crew of Fusion Theatre put on an uplifting production of “Oklahoma!” in the Island Hall, Lisburn. This show was also a tremendous success, with good attendances throughout, and no seats to be had on the final two nights
The Ulster Star, Lisburn’s local newspaper, reviewed the show, and commented: “The flawless performances from the immensely talented line-up of principals, who were well supported by an equally talented chorus, delighted the audience … All in all, the cast of Fusion put many professional companies to shame …”
In keeping with our ethos of inclusion, the Saturday night performance was signed by Dr Paul Whittaker from Music and the Deaf – the first time that Paul has signed this show. Many thanks, Paul, for a great performance, and also to Andy Higgins, who helped Paul from the pit. Visit the Music and the Deaf website:
